Meeting in Austria

We participated in the second meeting of the Comenius Project “Thermal Springs in Europe” in Austria and it was very interesting! We all had a great time and we had an enriching experience because we had the opportunity to know a different country, its history, culture and we also visited a Spa. It was fantastic to meet again our partners. In Austria we showed a presentation about our city Peso da Régua and the history backgrounds of the thermal baths in Portugal. We also introduced the Thermal Springs of Chaves, very important in our region. So, as we want to share it with all of you, we post it in the blog.

Friday 20 May 2011

The students of the first year, class F, of the Vocational Course of Hydrotherapy at Escola Profissional de Desenvolvimento Rural do Rodo, along with the teachers Ana Sofia Melo and Susana Aleixo, have been developing some written works for the Comenius project.

Within the subject of Techniques and Therapies of Support to the Thermal Activity, Module 2 - Thermal Equipment, Maintenance Services and Hygiene, were performed some powerpoints (works) in groups and each work is allusive to the thermal equipments discussed in class. They were later translated into English in the English classes, with the help of the teacher Susana, so that they can be read by all the partners/countries involved in the project. The theme "Thermal Springs in Europe" fits in full in this course of our school.
